Philippe Werey:

Philippe is the founder and Managing Director of Blue Tahiti Software. Originally from France, he moved to the UK in 1990 in order to develop a business delivering IT training to major software companies such as Nokia, Informix, and Fujitsu.

Following a move to Bristol, Philippe started to work in a development role for the Computing Group, now a leading consultancy in the field of database marketing, and renamed Identex. At Identex he worked on the development of advanced de-duplication software.

Further roles in development and consultancy at NTL and Hyperion led Philippe to Alterian, a global vendor of analytical CRM software. At Alterian, he worked on the development of a range of applications built on Alterians proprietary column based database engine. This gave him a unique working understanding of analytical and reporting technologies, as well as an excellent understanding of the requirements of the users needs.

This led him to found Blue Tahiti Software. His experiences of the analytical CRM business convinced him of the need for an analysis and reporting platform built on a solid mainstream database, namely SQL Server. This premise led to the development of the suite that forms the mainstay of Blue Tahiti's offering.

Richard Holloway:

Richard Holloway (Finance Director & Company Secretary) has a background in growth-orientated technology companies both as a consultant and principal. He has shareholdings and directorships in a number of UK independent companies including inty Ltd., an internet services company. In 2000 he raised £2.5m for intY and joined the Board as FD for 2 years as it grew rapidly. It now employs 40 people and is one of the South West's technology success stories. In Nov 2004, Inty won 1st prize in the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 Technology Awards for the South West and Wales. Richard is well connected regionally and brings a wealth of experience to the Board of Blue Tahiti Software.
